Claire Steinmann, Principal Architectural Designer

Claire graduated from the University of Calgary with a master's degree in architecture. She has been designing and overseeing residential building projects in Calgary for more than 10 years. 

With Tacansina Ranch, Claire took over the building and design of the ranch when her father, Axel, passed away. At that difficult moment, the ranch house was about 25% complete. Claire completed the project by taking the foundational rustic elements such as the monolithic log beams that Axel had installed and tweaked it with a modern, functional twist. It is the Tacansina Ranch signature.

Claire has since created an innovative company called STiL, which offers a line of stylish custom cabinet fronts and elements for IKEA systems.
